Cedar Barn Project
During the last two and a half years, whilst running Deluxe Developers, Richard and his father have invested over one million pounds in the design and build of a prototype zero carbon Eco home that meets the standards of code level 6 for sustainable homes aswell as the Passivhaus standard.
Cedar Barn is a 5000sq new home under planning policy D1 is a prototype which has proved a Code Level 6 build can be achieved in an aesthetically traditional property, losing the “Wacky” image.
Richard has been refining the design and working on further cost savings during the build process reducing the future overall build price preparing a module format to be applied to a multi house development.
Further details of the forthcoming development will be released soon.
